Term life insurance is a simple concept and is the only type of life insurance that functions as all other types of insurance by simply providing coverage for a risk at a certain premium. Guaranteed Universal life is the exception as it essentially functions as a term life insurance policy up age 120. Term life insurance and guaranteed universal life insurance feature a guaranteed level premium, a guaranteed death benefit for a certain period of years and will terminate if a premium payments is not paid in full when due just like an auto insurance policy or a homeowners insurance policy. There is no cash value, it’s simply insuring a risk. To learn more about term life insurance, check out: Term Life Insurance: Everything You Need To Know In One Place by J.C. Matthews.
